You can temporarily inactivate an article, for instance because this particular article is sold out at the moment. In this case, the article key remains visible in the cash register, but is temporarily inactive and cannot be used for registration. 

Inactivate an article

-       -> Articles

-       -> Inactive article

-       -> Follow instruction of ? key
